Eighth PraxisDialog: Practical High-End Process Standardisation
To be held on 1 February 2007 at MAN Roland in Offenbach
Consistent color in illustration printing – one of the most exacting of print buyers’ demands. In the eighth PraxisDialog MAN Roland and System Brunner will present practical solutions that enable printing companies to avoid color variations in a production run.
Standardisation and process control are prerequisites for efficient Color Management. Therefore this PraxisDialog will demonstrate a process workflow from evaluation of the printing plates right through to measuring and regulating color on a ROLAND 700 press.
Besides “Instrument Flight”, the computer-aided quality control system, and the process diagnosis and evaluation software “Print Consult”, grey balance regulation with okBalance will be demonstrated live. Visitors will be able to see how this software for color control systems can ensure highly consistent color in illustration printing. System Brunner AG has led the way in the development of print standards for 35 years and Peter Sonntag from this company is to be the guest speaker. Apart from sharing his know-how on the products mentioned above, this expert will explain many basics concerning print standards and give practical advice.
The PraxisDialog “Practical High-End Process Standardisation” will take place in MAN Roland’s Graphic Center in Offenbach on 1 February 2007 from 10 am till 3 pm. Participants only need to pay for their travel costs.
